Group Reporting Manager
About The Role
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Reporting professional to join our corporate finance division in Melbourne. Reporting to the Finance Director, this position will be pivotal in preparing the Group’s financial statement and a timely delivery of the Group’s month end process. This role will also be responsible for drafting technical papers to ensure compliance with the relevant accounting standards.
About You
You are a CA/CPA qualified professional with strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience within an ASX listed organization. You have experience in handling multiple business units within an entity or experienced in working in a Corporate (head office) environment. You will also have:
- experience in developing policies and procedures and associated financial controls and preparing financial statements.
- high degree of financial acumen, attention to detail, exceptional writing skills.
- proven ability and keen interest in developing, leading and mentoring people.
- ability to manage deadlines and completing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of the Group’s month-end process, including reviewing and preparation of the monthly revenue analysis and Board pack.
- Consolidation requirements and reconciliation of underlying records to final reporting positions.
- Accurate and timely preparation of the annual and half-year reporting process including the ASX statutory reporting requirements and review of regional statutory financial statements.
- Provide departments within Hansen with financial information about performance versus budget with expert analysis of variances that drive better decisions.
- Support global annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles, challenging assumptions and working collaboratively with team members and other business partners to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of the Group’s treasury and debt matters and manage dividend policy and distributions.
- Oversee employees’ share-based payment expense records and serve as the central point of contact for all technical accounting advice across the Group.
- Review half-yearly bank covenant reporting to lenders and focus on process improvement and simplification matters.
