POSITION TITLE: Manager: Group Reporting & Corporate AssuranceLOCATION: Richmond, VictoriaGENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITIONReporting to the Associate Director of Group Reporting & Corporate Assurance and working closely with the Head of Group Reporting, Corporate Assurance and Treasury (FLT) and other members in delivering the team vision with a focus on Group Reporting and Corporate Assurance areas, across both Finance (60%) and Sustainability (40%).RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIESCorporate Assurance
- Develop and prepare month end activities/reporting for data collation and monitoring/interpreting analytical trends in sustainability related data, including assessing the related financial implications
- Responsible for preparing supporting documentation and verification files to assist with sustainability assurance as per the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and Australian Treasury Consultation paper
- Develop and facilitate sustainability training focused on assurance and verification to the Group
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining sustainability verification procedure and processes (guidance) to ensure the Group is in compliance with the relevant requirements as set by the ISSB, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) etc
- Responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of internal controls for collation and preparation of sustainability data required for external reporting
- Responsible for managing and coordinating with third party consultants and external auditors in relation to sustainability and financial reporting matters
- Prepare and be responsible for the internal management assurance program over sustainability and financial related data
- Prepare verification files in accordance with the 4th Edition of the ASX Corporate Governance Principles for responsible sections of the Group’s consolidated financial statements and other financial documents released to the ASX (Investor Presentation, ASX Release etc)
- Responsible for preparing supporting files and verification work books in response to external auditor’s request, including assisting with coordination of the external auditor
- Participate in month end global consolidation process and routine month end activities
- Responsible for preparing files for year end reporting
- Business partnering with the head of insurance, such as assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and analysis files
- Responsible for providing group financial and sustainability information to fulfill regulatory compliance reporting and/or requests from senior management and various functions including insurance, sustainability, EH&S, IT, treasury, tax, M&A
- Responsible for collating information across group and managing the Group’s lease portfolio in the lease accounting application (Anaplan)
- Prepare and be responsible for the internal management assurance program by assisting and reviewing Ansell’s key estimates and judgements for both sustainability and finance
- Participate in the development and facilitation of accounting and finance training to be delivered to the global finance team
- Participate in the Group’s development of integrated reporting roadmap and strategy
- University Degree (Accounting and sustainability preferable)
- Accounting and sustainability qualification (such as CA or CPA for finance) or equivalent on-job experience
- 6+ years accounting/financial reporting experience (corporate/group accounting and/or audit experience preferable) and/or sustainability consulting experience
- Experience in statutory reporting and/or sustainability reporting
- Experience working with a global team (both finance and non-finance functions)
- Experience in interacting with senior management
- Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages are highly regarded
- Strong project management and initiative execution capability
- Technology skill:
- MS Office applications – highly proficient in excel
- FCCS (preferable)
- ERP system MD365, Oracle or SAP (preferable)
