About the role
In this role, you will manage the delivery of the Ampol sustainability strategy and plan to support the group in achieving its sustainability objectives, partnering with the business as a trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with the business as a trusted advisor and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as a subject matter expert relating to Environment, Social and Corporate governance
- Undertake analysis of sustainability data to identify key insights and trends recommending initiatives to drive improvement in ESG ratings.
- Manage group level reporting systems, data collection and review for relevant reporting
- Lead the preparation of Ampol group voluntary disclosures and other mandatory reporting requirements such as, Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) reporting, National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGERS) and annual sustainability report
About you:
You will have strong communication both written and verbal and are comfortable to engage with stakeholders at all levels. You will have a passion for sustainability with the ability to partner with the business to provide pragmatic solutions.
Key skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, Environment, Law
- Extensive experience in corporate sustainability or a closely related field, preferably with a listed company (ASX or other market)
- Proven experience in contributing to the development and execution of an ESG strategy, plans and supporting processes, systems, governance structures and associated performance measurement
- Production of board level presentations and public reports such as a Sustainability Report
