Are you passionate about tax compliance and governance? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can significantly impact? TechnologyOne seeks a skilled and knowledgeable Tax Advisor to support and advise our organisation on Group tax compliance, reporting, and governance obligations.
What you'll be doing…- Take ownership of preparing and reviewing all tax returns and filings for the Group, ensuring timely and accurate lodgement across various jurisdictions, including annual tax returns, FBT, and BAS.
- Prepare quarterly reports for the Audit and Risk Committee, identifying tax risks, and recommending strategies to manage and mitigate them effectively.
- Prepare tax effect accounting calculations for inclusion in half- and full-year financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise the organisation on its responsibilities, implementing strategies to ensure compliance with new regulations.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation requirements for the group, including the annual compliance report (ACR) and Advanced Pricing Arrangement (APA) with regulatory bodies.
- Conduct periodic reviews of tax processes to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for efficiency gains and process improvements.
Your Talents…
- Tertiary accounting qualifications and professional membership (CA or CPA);
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in taxation, either in a Big-4 or corporate environment;
- Strong knowledge of income tax, tax effect accounting, FBT, GST and governance as applicable to large corporate entities
- Strong understanding of Australian laws/obligations/compliance. It would be helpful if you had some international tax exposure.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise corporate accounting systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
