What you’ll contribute to

An exciting opportunity has become available for a suitable Technical Advisor / Master Tech to join our Service department. The Group Technical Advisor will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of technical staff training and development across our 3 sites - Melville, Rockingham and Cockburn Toyota.  Liaising with the Technical Advisors and Apprentice masters at the individual sites, you will help to develop and build the knowledge of our technicians and apprentices.

What you'll Bring:

• Minimum 5+ years Toyota experience: Current Diagnostic tech level or above looking to take the next step in their carrier. 
• People-Centric approach: You believe in the power of people and understand they are the heart of the organization.
• Problem-Solving  and Effective Communication: You thrive in finding solutions and have an ability to communicate effectively verbally or in writing with all levels of management.
• Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Ability to identify and source suitable talent to progress through our businesses.
• A positive attitude and a appetite for learning: a can do attitude that thrives in an environment where lifelong learning is a core value
• Self driven attitude: Ability to work 

How you’ll make an impact  

• Implement agreed training processes and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and support to service departments across three Toyota dealerships.
• Stay updated with the latest Toyota technical bulletins and training
• Create training plans with the use of Toyota Training Portal.
• Ensure correct mix of Technicians, Pro Techs and Diag Techs across the 3 sites.
• Share your insight and vast Toyota product knowledge to improve efficiencies.
• Embrace the kaizen attitude of continuous improvement.
