We are a small subcontractor working on projects from tier one right through to residential clients. Everyday is different and we rarely spend more than 1 week on a site. Often we will complete multiple small jobs within the day. Primarily we stabilise the ground so that excavation can be safely carried out close to structures.
Qualifications & experience
- Building construction or civil experience preferable
- Valid Drivers License
- Truck License would be a positive but not essential
- Forklift license and experience preferred
- Excavator license/ experience would also be a positive.
- Plan reading.
- White Card.
- Good Communication Skills
- Tech savvy but doesn't mind getting their hand dirty.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Loading LR Truck for days work with forklift at factory unit
- Driving our late model truck to site. Sometimes 1 job other times up to 3 smaller jobs in a day.
- Setting up equipment for the job. Rolling out hoses connecting plumbing and power via diesel generator on truck or onsite power.
- Mixing Grout
- Carrying out specialised foundation work. All training provided on the job. Work is not hard physically but requires patience and working methodically.
- Maintaining equipment, pump repairs and warehousing
- PPE and training will be provided.
