  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to increase publication rates for our core content.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve core and social media content using analytics data, audience and external stakeholder consultation and new technologies where appropriate.
  • Report monthly using data and analysis on progress towards strategic audience growth targets and where future opportunities lie.
  • Help design and implement strategic social media campaigns with relevant and targeted content.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of AAP FactCheck

Who are you?

  • Experience designing social media strategies that take advantage of emerging trends and channels, build brand identity and increase audience recognition.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work flexibly and independently as required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with varied deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities.
  • Accountable and accepting of feedback.
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of accuracy, impartiality and fairness and commit to AAP's journalist Code of Practice.
