We operate in Australia and selected countries overseas, allowing users to pay by the day, week, or subscribe monthly. as part of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to reshaping insurance for the young and active demographic.

About the role:

We are seeking a smart, fun and passionate Growth Marketing Specialist to join the Flip adventure! You will get to work in a fast-paced, innovative team comprising ex-founders, top tier consultants, and venture builders. Get ready to learn and gain firsthand experience in marketing innovation and general start-up wizardry. 

What you will do:

You will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of different capabilities across our scaling start-up and will directly contribute to the marketing goals of Flip, along with helping to drive growth across the complete marketing mix.

Marketing & Growth

  • Lead all digital marketing initiatives such as blogs, social media posts and customer case studies. This includes campaign planning, briefing, freelancers and agencies, and distribution of content.
  • Manage an ongoing product marketing strategy to attract new customers and retain existing ones
  • Optimise content using SEO and customer journey best practices to increase customer education.
  • Plan and manage campaign calendar
  • Work closely with Insurance, Product and Sales Teams to refine marketing collateral
  • Lead website copy updates in line with product launches and updates
  • Consider UX and SEO writing best practices across web and app
  • Work with key partners to deliver Flip messaging across partner channels

Customer Success

  • Hosting and managing interviews with customers and claimants to gain insights
  • Review, test and make adjustments to web copy, based on customer feedback
  • Liaison with Customer facing teams such as partners to ensure consistent product language

Who we are looking for:

  • Passionate about tech, activities and adventure
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Good internal and external communication skills
  • Curious and a good problem solver
  • Confident and happy taking ownership
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for working in a start-up environment
  • 3-5 years in a professional work setting ( marketing preferred )

Ideally you will have experience in:

  • Content marketing
  • Prior knowledge in HTML and CSS
  • Writing copy for marketing materials
  • Planning and managing a campaign calendar
