Closing Date: 11:30pm, Saturday 29 June 2024About the OpportunityThe Guardian Liaison Officer will provide administrative and case management support to the Office of the Public Advocate (OPA). Under broad direction, the Guardian Liaison Officer will assist OPA Guardianship teams manage new and existing and stakeholders, such as service providers, medical professionals and legal practitioners. The Guardian Liaison Officer will provide a key liaison between OPA and SACAT in relation to hearings and determinations.About the BusinessThe Office of the Public Advocate is an independent statutory Office of the South Australian Government. The OPA exists to promote the rights and interests of people who may need assistance with decision-making and assist their family and friends. The Public Advocate promotes rights through delivery of services. Services includes provision of information, advocacy, dispute resolution, investigations, and being appointed guardian by the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT) when no other order is appropriate.
