A newly created role has become available for a Guest Experience Manager to train, inspire and develop our in venue service teams across our diverse portfolio of venues.
The Role
Working in-venue across Solotel’s premium restaurants and pubs, the Guest Experience Manager is our Culture & Training Ambassador, responsible for driving service excellence, in-venue training & development programs and Guest Experience across our brands.
Working across our venues each week, the core responsibilities of this role include:
- Championing Solotel’s service standards and expectations through coaching and development
- Creating and executing bespoke service training sessions for our venues
- Working with the in-venue teams to improve service levels, Guest Experience, ambiance and reward and recognition programs
- Driving Guest Experience and incentives for regulars & VIPS
- Customer review analysis
- Partner with our L & D Manager to compile in-venue training and mentoring programs for our venues
- Build and develop customer experience training sessions
- Devising sequence of service operations for new concepts and more!
We are on the hunt for a seasoned hospitality senior leader, who has led some of Sydney’s best restaurants or hospitality establishments, in a GM or Group Operations capacity, to take the next step in their hospitality career.
Having led venues as a Senior Leader for several years, you will have an intrinsic dedication to supporting a guest first culture. Service is second nature to you and you will be looking for a role to elevate your career and draw on your experience to teach, train and inspire the next generation of hospitality!
Your strong communication skills & energetic approach to hospitality will inspire our teams and your great people skills person will help you engage with our staff and achieve positive outcomes for our venues.

Ideally you will have:
- 3 – 5 years + experience as a General Manager or Group Operations Manager
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Exceptional people skills & a passion for mentoring and training
