Experienced Bakery Manager
Fresh & Save Australia is a family owned & operated business.
We are a warehouse format supermarket, stocking an adequate range of grocery goods to satisfy 95% of Australian consumer’s needs. We have an extensive fresh food offer with onsite butchers in all stores and full scratch bakeries in our larger stores.
Fresh & Save is a limited range, no frills format that aims to deliver significant savings to our customers for a full basket versus our competitors, while still stocking all the brands Aussie’s know & love.

Salary Package (Base + Super) 45 Hours (includes a Weekend Day) - $90,000-$100,000PA.
Experienced Bakery Manager
Fresh & Save Armidale will feature a large, full production Bakery. Producing all bread products from scratch, along with cake and a wide range of other sweet products.
A successful candidate will demonstrate the following key attributes;
- 3+ Years of Bakery Management Experience
- Have all Trade qualifications.
- Experience in production of all scratch bakery product.
- Experience in developing & training bakery apprentices.
- Understand principles of shrink minimisation.
- Understand financial reporting – budget vs. actual, gross profit performance, wage performance.
- Understands stocktaking process’.
- Experience in purchasing from multiple suppliers.
- Computer Literate – POS Programs, Rostering Systems, Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
- Must be Physically fit & enjoy physical work.
- Excellent planning skills.
- Excellent Communication skills with direct team & other members of the senior management team.
- Ability to manage a team – includes training, direction, & follow up.
- Adopts a “Service First” mentality.
- Employs a positive attitude towards all situations.
- Ability to recognise & resolve issues promptly.
- Extremely high attention to detail.
- Provide helpful and efficient customer service & model appropriate behaviour.
- Enjoys working as part of a team & leads by example.
- Ability to work autonomously as required.
- Understands the importance of following Food Safety & WHO&S programs.
