Great opportunity for a professional, fun, and engaging Food & Beverage/Guest Relations Associate to join Dexus on a part time, casual basis in Brisbane, supporting Dexus Place. This role, based at Dexus Place, will enable you to see first-hand how important people are to our business. You'll exercise your naturally curious mind, working to understand what our customers need and enabling that before they even ask.
How you will make an impact
- High focus on providing premium customer service experience across Dexus Place touch points.
- Preparation of all guest arrivals, understanding guest relation requirements before they arrive.
- Responsibility in taking beverage and food orders for meetings and events including, but not limited to, tea, coffee and alcohol.
- Assisting with preparation of catering and delivery to meeting rooms on a timely and presentable form.
- Providing support with general AV troubleshooting and coordinating with Dexus IT or third - party support.
- Managing company internal and external calls by answering in a timely manner.
- Being aware and assisting in the maintenance of facility stock levels.
- Managing general reception administration duties.
- Setting up and packing down of spaces and rooms in terms of equipment, furniture, and catering services as required.
About You
- Strong personal presentation at a corporate level and a professional and friendly customer focused approach.
- Come in with a can-do and positive attitude.
- 1+ year experience in Guest Relations or Hospitality services with exposure to high-end environments, preferably corporate or functions and events.
- Hold a current and valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
- Current and valid First Aid and CPR Certificates are preferable, but not essential.
- Highly flexible and adaptable in a changing and demanding environment.
- Holding effective time management skills and ability to organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines will set you up for success.
