The Guest Service Agent's primary responsibilities include warmly welcoming guests upon arrival and bidding them a fond farewell upon departure. They ensure accurate payment information and billing setup, provide room orientations, and assist guests throughout their stay.
1. Extend a warm, professional, and friendly welcome to all hotel guests upon arrival, assisting with door opening and providing any necessary support.
2. Anticipate guests' needs and offer assistance proactively in the lobby, ensuring a positive first impression and a seamless experience.
3. Efficiently handle luggage storage and retrieval, manage parcels, and maintain accurate inventory of loaned items, ensuring everything is collected before check-out.
4. Ensuring immaculate presentation of hotel entry and reception
5. Stay informed about the hotel's offerings, special events, and promotions to provide guests with the most up-to-date and accurate information.
6. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on the local surroundings culture and heritage, offering recommendations and directions to dining venues, tourist attractions, and other local destinations.
7. Excellence in writing and communication skills with the ability to communicate to diverse clientele
8.Display proficiency in handling reservations and managing guest accounts
