Join Our Team
We are seeking a Guest Service Agent with a warm & welcoming personality, who can provide exceptional customer service to ensure every guest has a memorable experience.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for customer service, strong skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, highly developed administration skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, experience with front office booking systems, strong attention to detail and a high standard of personal presentation.
Previous front office experience is essential, ideally in a customer service environment. Industry qualifications will be highly regarded.
Must be available to work day/night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
The Role
Regular daily tasks include:
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner & provide high quality customer service
- Efficiently handle check-ins and check-outs
- Manage reservations and bookings efficiently using our hotel management system (RMS)
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative duties as needed, including processing payments and maintaining guest records
About You
The successful applicant will have the following skills & experiences:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with hotel management software (RMS)
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Candidates must have excellent written and verbal English skills
- Ability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
