NOAH'S on the beach is a busy hotel with 90 guest rooms, an iconic restaurant and strong conference & event business. We are located in an idyllic position opposite Newcastle Beach in the historic east end of Newcastle, NSW.
The successful candidate will need to possess the following criteria:
- Proven problem solving and time management skills with ability to multi task
- Have an excellent phone manner
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Maintain professional composure under pressure
- Be reliable and flexible with the ability to work varied shifts
- Be passionate about customer service
- Have an outgoing personality, a positive attitude and be enthusiastic in your approach to work
- Be comfortable and confident to work day and overnight shifts.
The following skills are preferred but not essential:
- Have worked in a hotel Guest Services department with experience in front desk, reservations and night audit
- Proficient in the use of a property management system (PMS)
This role will report to the Front Office Manager and will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Ensuring safety and security of our guests and staff
- Undertake front office duties such as checking in and out guests, settling accounts and switchboard operations
- Making reservations.
