Lollipop’s Playland is the leader in Children’s Indoor Play with over 25 sites around Australia. We are a 7 day a week business specialising in kids birthday parties.
The Assistant Playland Manager will report to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the overall operations of the store including leading and managing a team of up to 30 staff. They are responsible for providing outstanding customer service, maintaining a clean safe environment and ensuring consistent and efficient shift management.
About the role:
- You will report to the company owners and higher management.
- The role is hands-on and you will be expected to work alongside and support your team
- Implement new/improved strategies to increase profitability
- Recruiting/training employees
- Maintain cleanliness to the highest Indoor Play Equipment Standards
- You will be required to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays (some night work will also be required)
- Work with the current management team to consistently achieve labour/food cost targets
- Writing and managing weekly rosters
About you:
- You must be a proactive manager with outstanding communication skills in a very fast paced environment
- Confident and professional
- Proven experience as a manager or supervisor within the hospitality and/or indoor play centre industry
- Barista knowledge is essential
- Current First Aid and Working With Children check is a must
- Experience in effectively managing a team of 15 + staff
