We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Haematology clinic at Noble Park.
In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care to patients with a variety of blood conditions, including anaemia, leukaemia, and lymphoma.
You will work collaboratively with physicians to deliver comprehensive treatment plans and ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform phlebotomy and other blood collection procedures and investigations.
Transfusion of blood and blood products including apheresis.
Administration of intravenous and subcutaneous chemotherapy.
Bone marrow transplant donor search and workup and follow-up patients.
Central and peripheral venous catheter dressing and care.
Educating and counselling patients and their families about their conditions, and treatment options.
Qualifications: Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
Two years of experience in a haematology or oncology setting (preferred).
Strong understanding of haematological disorders, diagnostic procedures, and treatment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in phlebotomy and intravenous cannulation techniques.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
