About the Role:
As the Haematology Registrar, your duties may include:
Providing direct medical services to the haematology outpatients clinic and other health units on request
Undertaking, with care and skill, the clinical management of patients under the supervision of specialist staff.
Keeping each specialist on the unit informed as to the clinical status of the patients under their care.
Liaising with other medical, nursing and para-medical staff and co-ordination of total patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent,
To be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
Experience in Clinical Medicine
Good communication skills and empathy with patients and their families
