About the Role:
As the Haematology Registrar, your duties may include:
- Providing direct medical services to the haematology outpatients clinic and other health units on request
- Undertaking, with care and skill, the clinical management of patients under the supervision of specialist staff.
- Keeping each specialist on the unit informed as to the clinical status of the patients under their care.
- Liaising with other medical, nursing and para-medical staff and co-ordination of total patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent,
- To be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
- Experience in Clinical Medicine
- Good communication skills and empathy with patients and their families
