THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented and motivated people-person to join our team as a front desk receptionist & salon assistant. You will be working within a creative group of people and will be the first person our clients meet on arrival to the salon.
You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks
- Handling inbound calls and emails
- Meeting, greeting and farewelling clients
- Scheduling client appointments
- Providing admin support to the team
- Ensuring clients receive high level of customer service throughout their appointment
- Liaise with stylists and colourists to ensure smooth and harmonious running of the salon
- Manage reception area
- Controlling client waitlist
- Light cleaning may be required
- Assisting with social media when required
ABOUT YOU
- Excellent communication skills, both with team members and clients
- Amazing customer service experience, if you have not had customer service experience must be open to learning and have a very good attitude
- Have a strong work ethic and have high energy, the salon can be a very faced paced environment
- Be able to multi-task and be very highly organised
- Have a interest for fashion, hair and beauty
- Have some computer experience, we will offer full training in our salon software
- Must love working in a team
- Experience with social media, or be willing to be involved with social media.
- Be fun loving, and have a big smile!
This is a full time role, but we will be open to someone that can work up to 30 hours also or the role may be split between 2 people if right candidates are found.
