Hair Transplant Assistant Or Nurse

We are currently seeking a Hair Transplant Assistant to join our clinic in Melbourne 1-2 days a week. The role will be a casual or permanent part-time position depending on candidate availability. Required days include: Fridays.

Your role will entail:

• Assisting our doctor and team with Hair Transplant procedures: sorting and loading hair grafts into implanter pens
• Prepare the procedural room (pre-op set up, post up sterilisation of equipment)
• Assist in the day to day runnings of the clinic including cleaning, receiving and making patient phone calls, responding to general email enquiries and administrative tasks.
• Discuss pre and post procedural instructions with patients 

Full training will be provided to successful candidates.

Requirements for the role:

• Ability to concentrate on micro procedural tasks for extended periods of time. Procedural days can be 8-10 hours long and require the ability to sit for 2-3 hour blocks focussing on small details. There may be up to 3 procedural days a week with the option for more if you are available. Note our start times: 9am. Finish times are between 5-6pm.
• Enjoy repetitive micro procedural tasks for extended periods of time with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination (think threading a needle, cross-stitching, lash technicians)
• Great communication skills to be able to educate, reassure and listen to patients
• Experience in clinical/medical settings preferred
