• A friendly, customer-focused attitude with the drive to provide total customer satisfaction.
• Experience in general building maintenance.
• Previous experience working in hotel / resort / hospitality settings is preferred.
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.
• The ability and flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including early mornings and on weekends.

What you will be doing:As Handyperson you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Engineering in maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings. In addition, they will protect the asset and ensure it remains a functional, pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and other team members.Additional InformationOur Hotel - The Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel opening on 1 July 2024.The Novotel Melbourne Airport with 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport with 216 rooms, will be located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport. Guests will enjoy access to a fitness centre, conference rooms, pool, co working space and a number of food & beverage venues which form the hub of the mixed-use precinct.This will be a village centre supporting the airport community as a place to gather and socialise for everyone who travels and works from the airport precinct.What is in it for you?
