Are you an experienced handyperson with a background in Facility Management (FM) Precinct work? We're seeking a skilled individual to join our team in Melbourne CBD. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in tenant and base building maintenance, along with proficiency in computer systems and general administrative tasks.
Key Requirements:
FM Precinct Work Experience:
- Tenant maintenance expertise
- Base building maintenance skills
Adequate Experience with Computer and General Admin Requirements:
- Prompt access to job details for efficient updates to clients via job systems and email
- Closing-off of jobs with accurate documentation
Detailed Auditing of Common Areas:
- Capturing photos, providing detailed descriptions, and proposing rectification works
Contractor Management:
- Ensuring compliance with:
- Inductions
- Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Relevant job permit submissions
General Handyman Jobs (Must Have/Desired):
Must Have:
- Door works expertise: hanging, closers, locks, handles
- Maintenance of ceiling and carpet tiles
- Installation and upkeep of whiteboards, pinboards, and general wall fixtures
- Furniture moving and assembly skills
- Experienced in carpentry, including minor joinery and desk modifications
- Wall and ceiling repairs: plastering and painting
Desired (Not Mandatory):
- Ability to handle general hooks on walls for pictures, coat racks, etc.
