An exciting opportunity exists for an innovative and passionate Humanities and Social Sciences teacher with the capacity to teach Beliefs and Values, Philosophy and Ethics to join our vibrant School.
This is a Terms 2, 3 and 4 2024 contract with the possibility of an ongoing role for a suitably experienced candidate.
Our ideal candidate would have the ability to deliver a rich curriculum, fostering student engagement in Humanities and Social Science and Beliefs and Values from Year 7-10 with a Year 11 General Philosophy and Ethics class for the remainder of the 2024 academic year.
At Perth College, the Beliefs and Values curriculum covers Philosophy and Ethics, Social Justice, Spirituality, Christianity, and other religions, encouraging students to develop their own framework of BELIEFS AND VALUES.
Applicants are expected to be subject experts with a thorough understanding of contemporary pedagogical theory and its practical application in the multi-disciplinary lower school Humanities and Social Sciences, including Beliefs and Values.
