Mazenod College is a Catholic Secondary Boys Day / Boarding School conducted by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate with an enrolment of 850 boys.
Mazenod College is seeking applications from innovative and enthusiastic teachers to join the HASS Department for Term Two 2024 as leave replacement. The teaching load will essentially consist of a combination of lower school HASS classes. The ability to teach Economics and a secondary learning area such as Mathematics will be advantageous.
All staff support the Oblate values and ethos of the College as well as its co-curricular activities. Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
Teachers who join Mazenod can expect opportunities to grow in their teaching through a whole-school teacher development programme. They will be joining a community in which families and teachers work together for the academic, social and spiritual growth of young men. Standards and expectations of classroom behaviour are very high and teachers are well-supported to maintain their standards.
Applicants must have current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA) and a valid Working with Children Check to be eligible for appointment.
