Hay Process Operator

ABOUT THE ROLE:
AWX are seeking motivated individuals to join our client's Hay Processing Team in Yerecoin for the upcoming hay season.
Our client is a hay exporter who process and export hay to specialist beef and dairy farms Asia and the Middle East.
They have recently embarked on a phase of rapid growth, which included the recent acquisition of four Hay Processing facilities located in Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria making the group a leader in the Australian Export Hay industry.
BENEFITS:

• Good hourly rate, 5 day working week, some weekend and night work

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Complying with all workplace Health and Safety requirements
• Ensure accuracy and conformance with prestart checks and plant inspection processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to the hay press as instructed (training provided)
• Maintain a high level of quality control and standards.

ABOUT YOU:
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Self-Motivated and willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in a Hay Processing plant (Preferred but not essential)
• Physically fit.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work 12 hour shifts either day or Night shifts.
• Pro-active work ethic.
• Good time management skills.
• Forklift Licence. (Preferred but not essential)
• Telehandler Licence/experience. (Preferred but not essential)
• Drivers Licence.

The role is a position based at the Yerecoin Hay Australia site and accommodation can be provided.
