- Work within a young, energetic team environment to maintain a high standard of customer service, technical quality, thriving team culture, and high performance
- Develop asbestos monitoring and decontamination strategies, issuing clearances
- Conduct sampling for various airborne contaminants such as respirable crystalline silica, dust, and chemicals, as well as physical hazards such as noise and vibration, in order to provide technical recommendations to protect worker health
- Undertake site surveys including sampling of suspected hazardous building materials and pre-demolition surveys
- Provide technical guidance on sites during asbestos removal projects
- Conduct indoor air quality, mould and moisture assessments, as well as providing recommendations on the remediation of mould or moisture impacted buildings
- Manage a diverse range of small scale projects
- Prepare technical reports and proposals with support from senior staff
- Have experience in the construction industry
- Some experience in conducting hazmat surveys or supervising asbestos removal projects would be highly regarded
- Demonstrate initiative, and ready and willing to embrace new challenges
- Be willing to work remotely, with occasional weekends and overtime as required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Australian Driver's License
- Asbestos Assessors License would be highly regarded
