Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HC Driver Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting scrap metal materials to and from our facility using heavy combination (HC) vehicles. This is a full-time position based in Irymple, Victoria.
Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy combination (HC) vehicles to transport scrap metal materials to and from designated locations.
• Safely load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating company vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and mileage.
• Assist with general yard duties and maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:
• Valid HC driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating heavy combination vehicles, preferably in the transportation or waste management industry.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and machinery for loading and unloading materials.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Forklift license (desirable but not essential).
• Full Australian work rights.
• 13.5 T excavator – proof of tickets
• Road ranger and auto trucks (get a road ranger)
• Autonomous role – need a hard worker
