The Role:
Toll People are looking for an experienced HC Driver for our Express division in Karratha. Avoid the heat with an early morning start then the afternoon is yours to spend fishing, shopping or sleeping. The role is a residential and candidates will need to be currently living in Karratha (or surrounds) to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting a high amount of general freight with pick-up's and deliveries within the Karratha area in a time-sensitive delivery period
- Manually loading and unloading trucks
- Pre-start vehicle checks
- Safe loading practices
- Outstanding customer service
Skills & Experience:
- Current unrestricted HC licence
- High risk forklift licence
- Minimum two years local driving experience (preferred)
- Proof of Working Rights - Passport, Australian Birth Certificate or Citizenship Certificate
- Solid work history within the transport industry
- Local Karratha / Dampier applicants only
- Current commercial vehicle drivers medical
- WA fatigue management certificate - within 2 years old
- National police clearance - within 6 months old (or be able to obtain one)
- A happy, can-do attitude! Working as part of a great team.
