About the role

This role is vital in supporting and contributing to the overall success of our business. We are looking for a HC Truck and Dog Driver to join our team. Our depot is located at Smithfield, Sydney, with haulage and tipping projects located all over Sydney.

Qualifications and skills needed:

• Hold a HC licence class
• 1+ year experience driving a Truck and Dog
• Ability to drive Road Ranger (desirable)
• Tipping experience
• General Construction Induction Card (White card)
• Tunnel induction(s) would be an advantage

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Efficient and safe operation of the company fleet
• Personal fatigue management and recording work/rest times
• Prestart check lists prior to start of shift
• Logging in to company iFace unit completing electronic dockets
• Attending inductions and training (as required)
• Attending and participating in toolbox talks
• Wearing compliant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Be happy to consider being clean shaven (project requirement for tunnel works)
• Maintaining safety procedures, hygiene and condition of heavy vehicles
