Acqua Drill Resources is a privately owned and operated, industry-leading hydrogeological drilling service provider, based in Bullsbrook, Western Australia.
To support our growing operations, we are seeking a suitably qualified HD Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
Minimum requirements:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate recognised in Australia
- Experienced in working on surface drills and ancillary plant & equipment
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Exceptional personnel time management and planning
- Ability to work in a small-team environment
- Good communication skills
- HR/HC unrestricted current driver’s license
- Forklift license
- Able to provide a national police clearance
- Able to pass comprehensive medicals including a drug and alcohol screen
- General computing knowledge
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety
- Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems on drill rigs, mud pumps, air compressors, support vehicles
- Adhere to ADR's Maintenance Plan (including completion of all maintenance documentation)
- Manage breakdown repairs to all equipment
- Complete maintenance reporting on a daily basis, liaising with the site Supervisor and Maintenance Manager for all work completed.
- Complete parts request for critical items and consumables
- Be proactive in all preventative maintenance, including planning and communication with the drill crews
- Comply with company procedures & policies
- Complete required pre-task risk assessments
- Perform maintenance in accordance with Company and OEM standards ensuring a safe workplace and machine reliability.
