Given our upcoming project works we are looking for experienced Mechanical or Civil Project Engineers / Engineers, initially based in our South Guildford Head Office then heading to site on a 2/1 roster mid year. Experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling and dewatering will be highly regarded.
The responsibilities and duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Project Manager to ensure that the project is completed in accordance with quality standards, the contract, and time requirements and company policies and procedures - including safety.
- Proactively manage projects to achieve quality and to ensure safety at all times
- Developing the resourced based program of works using MS Project and update the program on a weekly basis.
- Be able to read the construction drawings and do material take off
- Quality control on site and solving on site issues by raising technical queries
- Looking after QA paperwork including ITPs and ITRs
- Daily and weekly reports
- Compiling the QA documents and submitting the MDR
- Providing Project team and stakeholders with direction and feedback in regard to project designs and engineering queries.
- Utilising and maintaining tools: schedules and document management to track and record performance.
- Maintaining customer relations, attend and conduct meetings.
- Assisting in preparation of routine internal and external reports.
- Assisting Project Manager in the procurement of materials and the management of subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
