SalaryHi There, welcome to The Gisler Pie Company. We have been operating from our Beaudesert manufacturing facility since early 2023 and are in the hunt for a talented baker /pastry chef to join the ranks.
The Gisler Pie Company has been operational since 1976 within the Redland Bay Area of Brisbane. We have 2 retail outlets and countless wholesale customers across the entire South East Queensland.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Preparation of pie fillings as per recipes
Preparation of pasties including sweet shortcrust, pie bottom and puff pastry
General staff direction and guidance
Operation of pastry sheeter, mixers, pie lines and ovens
Assist with stock control and ordering
What we are looking for is a person that is willing to get in and have a crack!!! Your will need awesome time management skills as well as the ability to think fast on your feet. Mainly, it is with high importance that all recipes are adhered to at all times.
This role is fully supported by management/owners and will have good quality on the job training.
General hours of work will be 12am - 10am. Monday to Friday (no weekends). Some days may run shorter or longer pending production requirements.
The position is offered as annual salary and is negotiated depending on experience.
