We provide quality, contemporary support services for older people, young people and their families, people living with a disability or mental illness, and families experiencing domestic violence and hardship. Today, we serve from more than 20 sites throughout Queensland-from Tallebudgera to Rockhampton. As a member of the Lutheran Services team, you will work with warm, kind, and caring people. About the role
As Head Chef, you will have the responsibility to run your own kitchen and service as well as source the freshest, finest produce. You will oversee menu development, stock control and provide a quality meal service within budgetary limits. Supported by a small, close knit team, you will work 9:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday. You will provide approximately 42 covers each service of breakfast, lunch and dinner across the facility.

You will enjoy the challenge of bringing your experience and knowledge, as well as the creativity you express through food to our ground-breaking “Happy Tables project” taking a “food first” approach to combatting malnutrition in Aged Care.
