The Head Coach is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the netball program. This role involves designing and implementing training programs, providing guidance and support to all coaches and fostering a positive and competitive team culture. The Head Coach works closely with administrative staff to ensure the efficient operation of the program and the welfare of players and staff.
The Head Coach will be responsible for the outline of programs and frame work skills for each age section within our representative teams program. Modification, updating and adjustment for each section's program is anticipated from season to season. These programs are currently under development with the assistance of a third party but input from the Head Coach role is both welcome and required.
The Head Coach will attend training each Monday from 4.30 pm - 7.30 pm. There is no weekly game attendance requirement. Game attendance will be on an as needs or as requested basis. The focus of the Head Coach is both player and coach development at training. The Head Coach is supported by the netball manager and an administration assistant.
