The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) is looking for a new Head Coach - State Women's Program. In this position you will lead and oversee the coaching functions of the SA Women's Team driving sustainable team performance and maximising individual development. Please keep in mind that this position is a 2-year fixed term contract negotiable.
You will inspire a team of support staff to ensure programs are integrated, holistic and deliver positive outcomes. You will build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and engage collaboratively with leaders across South Australian and Australian Cricket to grow the women's game.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
§ Fulfil all Head Coach responsibilities for the SA WNCL
§ You will design, implement and review comprehensive individual and team coaching programs, lead a team culture in line with our values, and work collaboratively with support staff to ensure the wellbeing of all players.
§ With GM Cricket, oversee the recruitment, development and performance of coaching and support staff to ensure programs are integrated, holistic and deliver positive outcomes.
You will also support the WBBL program and act as an Assistant Coach to the Adelaide Strikers WBBL team:
· In this WBBL role you will have input into Strikers list management as required by Head Coach or SACA GM Cricket and work with the Head Coach to develop and implement an effective game strategy.
About you
- You will have a minimum 5 years' coaching experience
- You will ideally hold Level 3 Cricket Australia Coaching Accreditation (or the ability to obtain this)
- You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one
- You have a natural ability for building genuine relationships and working proactively with multiple stakeholders
- You have exceptional people management skills and experience in motivating passionate teams
- You are a great collaborator and value working with diverse teams
- It is also desirable that you have a strong understanding of cricket at an international level
- A strong understanding of cricket at an international level

It also administers high performance cricket in South Australia, including the West End Redbacks, Scorpions and Adelaide Strikers women's and men's teams.
