Strength and Conditioning Coach at The Yard Gym

The Yard Gym is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our team. As a Strength and Conditioning Coach, you will be responsible for implementing comprehensive training programs tailored to the individual needs and goals of our clients. You will work closely with athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all levels to improve their strength, power, agility, and overall performance.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Implement strength and conditioning programs for clients based on their fitness levels, goals, and specific needs.
2. Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations to determine baseline fitness levels, identify strengths and weaknesses, and track progress over time.
3. Provide instruction and guidance on proper exercise techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols to ensure clients perform exercises safely and effectively.
4. Motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals through positive reinforcement, encouragement, and support.
5. Monitor client progress, adjust training programs as needed, and provide ongoing feedback and support to optimize results.
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, research, and best practices in strength and conditioning, and integrate new knowledge into training programs.
7. Collaborate with other members of the coaching staff to develop comprehensive training plans for sports teams and group fitness classes.
8. Maintain a clean and organized training environment, including equipment maintenance and sanitation.
9. Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and excellent customer service at all times.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum Cert 4 in fitness
2. Previous experience working as a strength and conditioning coach, preferably in a gym or athletic setting.
3. Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and sports nutrition.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and engage clients.
5. CPR/AED certification.
6. Passion for fitness, health, and helping others achieve their goals.
