Head Housekeeper

Rawnsley Park Station is the provider of premier accommodation, dining and outdoor experiences in the Flinders Ranges.

We are looking to fill the position as Resort Head Housekeeper to work along side our dynamic team.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry working in a senior management or supervisory role.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ability to work across our accommodation portfolio with our 5 star Homestead and Eco-Villas our showcase product and also our highly desired tourist accommodation for all discerning travellers.
• Management and leadership of a diverse team.
• Overseeing the highest of quality housekeeping, showcasing attention to detail and quality control for all resort accommodation.
• Proactively working with heads of department with rostering and forward planning of projects
• Working along side, administration, housekeeping, maintenance, customer service, activities and restaurant areas to ensure a superior guest experience. 
• Maximizing financial awareness to ensure budgets for staffing and stock control is adhered to..
• Office administration including after-hours call-outs on a rostered basis. 

This is a hands on position - as we live and work onsite a can do attitude with a willingness to achieve very high standards.

 No two days are ever the same and the ability to multi task, problem solve and make succinct decisions is a must.

We have a strong housekeeping team who help operate all parts of the property so previous proven and demonstrated experience in managing, developing and training staff is essential.

Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office suite.

Previous RMS or similar reservation system experience desirable.

Superior customer service and guest experience is our ambition and the ability to demonstrate this in every situation is key.

Our property has a wide range of accommodation options from camping (both powered and unpowered), Tourist Cabins and our top of the range deluxe Eco Villas and Homestead accommodation. 

We are also the proud operators of the Woolshed Restaurant and many outdoor activities such as escorted walking tours, 4WD tours in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park and self drive 4wd tracks on station. Scenic helicopter and fixed wing flights also depart from Rawnsley so the opportunity for guests to experience the outback is definitely available.
