Exciting opportunity to work for one of Australia's retail media pioneers
We are currently in a scale-up phase with significant further growth ahead, Cartology leverages the best of the Woolworths group expertise while creating its own distinct offering and culture.
Cartology is further building out its Agency Partnerships Team with the appointment of a number of state based Head of Agency leaders, Group Sales Managers and Account Managers to lead the media agency portfolio in your state. You will work closely with agencies to leverage the Woolworths network and data offering, providing a positive customer service experience to ensure campaign objectives are met and revenue targets achieved.
This is a senior, market facing leadership position that will require you to build on and develop trusted relationships and educate agencies on the value proposition and benefits of the Woolworths ecosystem. You will utilise key insights to help agencies identify opportunities and put forward strategic sales recommendations that deliver against revenue targetswith optimal and measurable outcomes.
You will work closely with your team to drive long term strategic partnerships with global agency holding groups, their respective agencies and independent specialist agencies

What you’ll do
Commercial Performance and Reporting
Consistently meet and exceed revenue goals by developing robust quarterly/annual business and action plans
Drive advertising revenue growth by developing data-led marketing solutions for FMCG and non endemic advertisers
Identify opportunities for new business growth to generate incremental revenue
Negotiate successful and profitable agency partnership trading agreements and contracts
Market Engagement and Sales Acumen
Build the profile of Cartology among agency contacts by developing and maintaining key relationships
Engage agency teams on strategic issues and unlock opportunities to support their overall marketing objectives by leveraging the digital and data capabilities of Cartology and Woolworths Group
Develop and present high value, strategic proposals in response to client and agency partnership briefs
Internal Collaboration and Service
Partner with internal teams to develop the Cartology offering to better serve agency partnerships
Work cross-functionally with the vertical sales teams, business operations, client strategy, and product marketing to optimise our sales efforts by delivering strategic proposals and negotiating high value deal flow with FMCG and non endemic advertisers and their agencies
Team Leadership and Campaign Management
Manage a team, building a high-performance culture of collaboration and accountability
Ensure exceptional client service and campaign management
Effectively manage aspects of customer satisfaction to increase the customers experience and expectation
What you’ll bring
8 years’ experience in digital advertising or Agency Sales
Strong sales experience with proven ability to drive revenue results
Knowledge of and existing relationships at senior level across media agencies
Ability to develop strategic business plans to grow agency engagement to deliver strong revenue growth
Successful internal and external relationship management
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with a focus on customer service
Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate cultures
