Due to rapid growth in OPPO's smartphone products, we are looking to add to our team. Your day will be spent on the road, attending client sites to deliver retail store branding, building and maintaining relationships with key clients and channel partners as well providing device product training where required. Frequent travel required to the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne with occasional regional trips to Shepperton, Albury/ Wodonga and Lakes entrance.
Requirements of the role:
- Train & educate retail staff to give them the knowledge and expertise to confidently sell our brand and devices. Accomplish this through on-the-floor training, organising after-hours training sessions, attending roadshows, etc.
- Ensure all in-store displays are merchandised correctly and are compliant.
- Identify local area marketing opportunities and put plans together to increase sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and identify sales staff who are strong advocates of our brand.
- Effectively manage a territory - Build and manage a Call Cycle, understand sales in your territory and identify its strengths and weaknesses etc.
- Frequent travel to retail stores.
- Own, reliable vehicle required.
The role would suit someone who:
- Has experience in merchandising and influencing retail sales staff.
- Is passionate about mobile technology.
- Can demonstrate a high level of self motivation and organisational ability
- Has experience working autonomously.
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills would be essential.
- Is results oriented.
