About the Opportunity

Cyber & Intelligence (C&I) solutions forms a key cross-cutting and direct-to-customer business unit within the newly merged company. C&I International (C&I-I) has a mandate to operate globally outside North America with a mission to ‘enable Governments, Agencies and Operators of Essential Services to secure their critical assets and generate decision-making insight from their data in an ever more connected world’. Within C&I-I we have significant growth plans with recruitment and growth during FY24 in Poland and Japan. Australia, given the scale of the cyber and intelligence market, alignment with UK and US via AUKUS and the potential for collaboration with our well-established Defence business is an obvious next geographic growth area for us. In order to succeed, we require a leader with proven capabilities in strategizing for growth and implementing that strategy in terms of both work winning and building a team.

The geographical remit will span Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the wider APAC region (excluding Japan).

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

• Develop C&I presence in the Australian and wider APAC market (NB APAC currently excludes Japan) including establishment of a team
• Collaboration with local VP and existing Defence team with regards existing and new opportunities across APAC and future resourcing
• Development and implementation of a growth strategy aligned to the C&I mission and development of an initial sales pipeline
• Attracting and recruiting suitable talent to support delivery and growth
• Management of the local (C&I-I APAC) ‘P&L’ including delivery of agreed FY25 growth metrics in collaboration with C&I-I Group Director and Operations team
• To identify, qualify and pursue cyber security and digital/data solutions opportunities in Intelligence, Defence, Civil Nuclear and other relevant CNIsectors and grow the C&I-I pipeline.
• Liaise and coordinate with UK, Japan and US colleagues.

Here’s what you’ll need:

An enthusiasm for working closely with clients, developing solutions to challenges and problems, and working in disciplined teams with a motivation to overcome them is essential for success. The role will require diligence, and a curious, inquisitive nature in listening to and working with our clients- primarily at senior and executive levels- to develop innovative solutions to respond to our clients’ and society’s greatest challenges.

Key attributes for the role include but are not limited to:

• Track record of strategy and business development in Australia
• Understanding of the APAC competitor and supply chain sector in Digital solutions, Cyber Security and ICT
• Understanding of Cyber Security Solutions and/or digital Information systems for defence, intelligence and/or CNI providers
• Knowledge of Enterprise IT and the business structures which typically enable it and how APAC customers procure ICT and communications and information systems.
• Knowledge of current governmental Cyber Security strategy, policy and enforcement and delivery structures in Australia and wider APAC
• Good knowledge of Critical National Infrastructure, national resilience and civil contingencies legislation, policy and compliance in Australia and wider APAC
• Proven experience of operating at CXO/Board level with Government customers and with equivalent in the supply chain.
• Experience working with partners including the selection and relationship management of technology partners.
• Able to drive solutions / service and lead customer and partners interactions and can inspire teams around them.
• Comfortable with developing business ‘on contract’ and identifying new opportunities.
• Hold or be prepared to undertake appropriate levels of security clearance.
• Self-starter able to operate independently but also lead and drive a team and can exude confidence and positive energy.
• Has excellent presentation and written skills and can analyse complex problems.
