Head of Business Development

  • OTE - $200K (Base + uncapped commission) + Super
  • Location's – Brisbane or Gold Coast (Territory - Southeast Qld based role)
  • Industry - Construction or Large-scale factories

Haper are a leading Laboure hire company in construction and factories with Head Office located in Sydney.

Haper is a small and passionate team who operate out of remote offices and have a significant presence within this space. We have developed a reputation for going above and beyond for our clients. Haper have expanded from 1 to 5 states in 18 months.

What Haper are looking for…

The team are looking for a self-motivated, hungry, and ambitious individual to continue this ethos.

You will have industry experience and a proven track record of sourcing and maintaining new business within the construction space &/or large-scale factories.

Reporting to the directors, you will be given the opportunity to grow Haper's market share and be the figurehead and driving force behind the business. It is imperative that you can work autonomously and have a strong desire to succeed as the role is very hands on at times. You will be an outside of the box thinker, running the business like your own, bringing new and innovative ideas into the company.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years sales experience
  • Industry experience
  • Industry contacts and relationships
  • Executive presence – Lead interactions and own relationships with C-level & directors across organisations of all sizes from Tier 1 down.
  • Ability to work with companies of any size and interact with people at all levels, while building and developing strong client relationships
  • Business planning, strategising and building strategic sales plans to deliver on sales targets.
  • Proven track record in a similar role

  • Sourcing new business
  • Growing business within business
  • Site visits and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients
  • Forecasting
  • Business planning
  • General adhoc duties when required
