Your new roleWe have an exciting opportunity for to join the City Futures team as
Head of City Strategy. Reporting to the Manager City Futures, you will lead, develop and motivate a team of Strategic Planners in driving the development and practical delivery of strategic land use planning for Knox. Key responsibilities will include leading the preparation
of City shaping land use and development strategies, coordination of planning scheme amendments and leading a high performing team.This is a permanent, full time (19 day month with RDO available) Band 8 classified role. Remuneration will range from $122,052.72 - $137,037.50 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the superannuation guarantee.What you will need to thriveIn order to be thrive in this position you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in leading, motivating and developing high performing teams within a dynamic and changing environment.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in successfully planning and delivering complex strategic planning projects, policies and initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, negotiate and engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- A sound knowledge of the Victorian planning system and related legislation, including the ability to interpret practice notes, policies, legislation and regulations, and effectively guide the preparation of planning scheme amendments.
