Our Role
We are delighted to announce the creation of a new full-time role, Head of Curriculum – Middle and Senior School, responsible for leading and developing our educational programs to start in 2025. This leadership opportunity, reporting directly to the Principal, will suit an experienced curriculum leader who is eager to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing visionary leadership in curriculum and pedagogical practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs
- Overseeing the curriculum framework for Middle and Senior Schools to align with national standards and our vision
- Collaborating with department heads to innovate and enhance curriculum offerings
- Inspiring and leading teachers in adopting cutting-edge, research-informed teaching practices
- Facilitating professional development and mentoring for continual pedagogical advancement
- Engaging effectively with all stakeholders to enhance educational outcomes and community involvement
- Uphold the values and vision of Kingswood College, contributing positively to our community
Successful applicants will:
- Have proven leadership experience in curriculum development and pedagogy across different educational levels
- Possess a Degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field; a Masters or Doctorate is desirable
- Experience in leading a team of passionate educators
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ideally within an independent school environment
