The Delivery & Change Centre of Excellence - Head of Delivery is accountable for leading a large team of project professionals responsible for the successful completion of ANZ’s strategically prioritised initiatives.
As a senior executive, the Head of Delivery plays a critical role in driving ANZ’s ongoing success. They will work to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of complex projects, while maintaining high standards of quality, performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
The Head of Delivery will develop and implement a Delivery Practice roadmap that responds to ANZ’s changing delivery needs. They will build a high-performance culture, focused on developing team members to deliver their best outcomes. They will focus on increasing delivery pace and agility, whilst managing inherent change risk.
This role is instrumental in developing the NZ Division Program, Project and Initiatives delivery performance using data and metrics. It will work closely with the Banks executive leadership teams to understand strategic alignment, remove project delivery impediments, and ensure successful value delivery.
The Head of will work within the Delivery & Change Centre of Excellence (DC CoE) Leadership team. They will build close relationships with the ANZ Group Delivery Excellence Centre, NZ Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, Finance and Risk teams to ensure delivery consistency and support.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated ability to proactively build and lead high functioning, collaborative teams to deliver business outcomes.
10+ years’ experience in senior Program or Project leadership, ideally in a Banking environment.
Passion for continuous improvement of people and processes to drive efficiency.
Ability to build strong cross-business relationships at all levels through positive influence.
Fully conversant with Project Management methodologies, principles, and tools
Demonstrated strategic and commercial acumen.
Strong communication and engagement skills.
