The Role
Due to internal promotions, an exciting opportunity has become available for a combined teaching and leadership role
- Head of Department - English Teacher VCE
The team is welcoming, collaborative and energetic and looks for similar teachers. The role commences in Jan 2024, full-time. This position will entail Head of Department duties, alongside a small VCE English teaching load.
The growing school offers a strong pastoral program for students and support for staff well being, recognition initiatives and professional development and career development opportunities. Additionally, they provide state-of-the-art facilities, varied resources and an open communication to leadership and welcome applications from teachers with minimum 1 years experience and confidence in teaching the above VCE subjects.
Relevant Qualifications & Experience
- Have relevant qualifications
- Experience teaching VCE English
- Head of Department experience highly regarded
- Have registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Hold valid Australian Working Rights
- Hold a current Working with Children Check and Police Check
