Follow the link to find out what its like to live, work and play in our wonderful region:About the Role: Head of Foundation (Flexible working arrangements)Channel your passion for philanthropy and healthcare to create and strengthen vital links between community donors and great health outcomes in our region!The GV Health Foundation (Foundation) is the official fundraising charity for GV Health, supporting the delivery of vital healthcare equipment and facilities, services, scholarships, education and public awareness initiatives, and major capital campaigns to support the GV Health community. The Foundation is a registered Public Ancillary Fund and holds deductible gift recipient status.The Head of Foundation is the heart and soul of the Foundation, and its public face, offering strategic leadership and operational excellence, and cultivating lasting relationships with individual, business and corporate donors.Responsible for crafting and executing the Foundation's fundraising strategy and securing philanthropic donations from all sources (with a strong focus on donors within the GV Health catchment community), the Head of Foundation is a confident and persuasive communicator, leveraging extensive networks and influence to secure support for the Foundation's fundraising priorities.The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant qualification in fundraising, business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a senior leadership role in a non-profit, health organisation, or other complex and dynamic environment
- Strong community engagement and stakeholder management experience, with existing links and community networks, and demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport and trust with various groups and individuals
- Strategic, analytical, and financial skills to support business development and decision making, and highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Desirable: Demonstrated fundraising and philanthropy expertise and results, with experience in developing and implementing strategies to secure donations from high net worth individuals, bequests, corporate entities, community events and appeals, and direct marketing campaigns
