AddressWe are currently seeking to employ a highly motivated and innovative leader to join the Austin Cove Baptist College Secondary School community. The position is full-time, commencing at the beginning of Term 3 or as soon as practicable.
The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in Physical Education Studies ATAR and be dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative in their approach to delivering the Curriculum as well as having the ability to work collaboratively with the whole school community.
The successful candidate will have a solid work ethic, friendly nature and be a conscientious, committed Christian.
The College
Austin Cove Baptist College of South Yunderup is a co-educational College that commenced in 2011 and currently has approximately 750 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Selection Criteria
Essential
- To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ including regular church attendance and a lifestyle consistent with the expectations of Christian faith.
- Be a qualified teacher registered with the TRBWA and hold a Working With Children Check
- MR (or higher) heavy vehicle licence or able to obtain
- Passenger transport driver (PTD) authorisation or able to obtain

- Be highly motivated and organised
- Have demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum requirements set by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority
- Be an inspiring leader able to initiate and manage change.
- Have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing programs from Year 7-12
- Have a record of achievement as an educational leader
- Be an able administrator with the capacity to think strategically, consult, plan and delegate
- Be approachable, a good listener and an effective communicator and public speaker
- Have a commitment to pastoral care and extracurricular activities
