At nCino, we are transforming the Home Lending landscape. We are on a mission to take financial institutions to the next level with our leading cloud banking software. We are after someone with end to end Home Lending domain experience in Australia/New Zealand to help us extend our platform for the residential mortgage industry. You will be responsible for owning the product strategy, detailed feature roadmap and ultimate success of the Home Lending product suite. As a member of the product team, you will work collaboratively with developers and other key stakeholders to take the right ideas from concept to final delivery and adoption in the market.
Responsibilities
- Drive the product vision, strategy, development, and execution to establish world-class, industry-leading, well-adopted products facilitating Home Lending by financial institutions
- Continuously collaborate with Professional Services (PSO), System Integrator Partnerships, sales and marketing to contribute to and refine comprehensive go-to-market plan across multiple geographies, channels and market segments
- Analyze and evaluate fast-moving mortgage lending industry and market environment to ensure the product remains well positioned for customer adoption.
- Research regional product needs and create productized "product packages" to support our go-to-market strategy in Region
- Evaluate customer product needs by facilitating customer driven product workshops to be able to determine areas of improvement to better support the market growth
- Develop and present to Executive Management and other teams the product's market business strategies
- Partner with sales and marketing to contribute to and refine comprehensive go-to-market plan across multiple geographies, channels and market segments
- Collaborate closely with all product portfolio managers to close gaps necessary for success
Qualifications
Required:
- Deep understanding of mortgage lending in Australia and/or New Zealand
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Commerce, or related field
- 8+ years of software marketing/product management experience or combination experience, education, & superior performance
- Experience in presenting to multiple layers of a company, including executives
- Experience with the sales cycle and conducting customer interviews
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to plan and deliver products in an agile environment
- Demonstrable ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirements
Desired:
- Some understanding of business lending in Australia and/or New Zealand
- Advanced knowledge of Scrum principles
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce
- Sales, credit and settlement operations teams
- Serviceability data requirements
- Direct assisted, broker and digital mortgage pipelines. Enquiry through to settlement
- Experience with Customer / banker motivations as it relates to Home Lending
- Experience with Credit decision processes and best practice and workflow automation
- Experience with Process optimizations'
- Experience with Digital front end best practice UX
