ABOUT THE ROLE - Reporting to the ASIA & ANZ regional HR Director, in a functional matrix style you will operate as an HR Business Partner for Commercial Applications working with internal partners and be an HR Country Manager for the legal entity. Stake holder management is a crucial element in this role; you will be providing executive leadership to the incredibly valued P&C strategies; providing a collaborative, broad and value-add service to the entire organization, provide consultation on human resources-related issues acting as an employee champion and change agent in alignment with the businesses strategy and objectives.
YOUR GENERAL JOB FUNCTION;
- Develop, maintain and implement HR systems, processes, policies and infrastructure, aligning the business objectives with the global vision.
- Lead and develop team members, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, cultivate diversity & inclusion, and elevate the Group employer brand.
- Manage the regional HR budget effectively and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations and company policies
- Provide strategic oversight to organisational continuous quality improvement
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, encompassing recruitment, talent management, learning & development, performance management, employee relations, workforce planning and compensation & benefits.
- Take ownership of the entire HR function providing expert, consistent and collaborative support and service to the business on all HR related matters and functions
- Lead organisational development and change projects, especially in relation to Diversity, People & Culture and Leadership capabilities
- Be a key adviser on risk management
- Continue to develop the organisation's positive culture, employee engagement and performance standards
- Overseeing a team which encompasses HR coordinator, dedicated Payroll and IR professional.
- Facility management
- A proven National HR professional with experience in a global Matrix organisation as a manager or senior HR business partner.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
- Extensive knowledge across all aspects of Australian and New Zealand employee legislation, relations, policies and procedures.
- A Commercially astute leader with commercial awareness across the business
- Strong relationship builder & Influencer; able to build alignment across departments and develop high performing teams
- A role model in effective leadership behaviours
- A leader who strives for employee engagement and their people's well-being
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, operational practices and change management
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and a high level of computing skills
- An innovator with high integrity and morale standards
